Responsibilities

• Maintains state highway systems: filling joints/cracks, patching potholes, traffic control, and debris removal.
• Repairs and cleans state highway facilities; maintains signs, guardrails, curbs, gutters, and equipment.
• Operates vehicles to transport personnel/equipment, plow snow, spread ice control materials, and manage right-of-way equipment.
• May repair bridge decks and drains, work at heights using ladders or scaffolding.
• May install signs and perform sign post maintenance.
