Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a skilled Highway Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks under close supervision. Responsibilities include culvert work, mowing, patching pavements, storm cleanup, and equipment operation.

The ideal candidate is 18+, holds a valid driver's license with 3+ years clean driving, can work in adverse weather, lift moderately heavy objects, and stay flexible with shifting schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license (3+ years clean driving).
• Able to work in adverse weather and lift moderately heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear culverts.
• Mowing and clearing brush from roadsides.
• Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
• Assist in storm cleanup.
• Fence and sign repair.
• Litter and debris removal.
• Emergency response.
• Operate equipment used in Highway Maintenance.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.
• Use power tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.
