Qualifications

  • Experience in transportation engineering support or roadway maintenance.
  • Two years of experience for Tech III; one year for Tech II.
  • Valid driver’s license and CDL-related certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains highways and rights-of-way and performs roadway repairs.
  • Operates heavy and light equipment and transports materials to job sites.
  • Assists with traffic control and protects the public during emergencies.
  • Performs plant/landscape maintenance and trims trees or brush as needed.
  • Follows safety guidelines and works independently with supervision for unusual issues.
