Job summary

Texas Department of Transportation in Crane, Texas is seeking Transportation Maintenance Tech I/II/III to perform routine roadway maintenance, equipment operation, and traffic control duties across highways and rights-of-way. Qualifications

• Experience in transportation maintenance or roadway operations.
• Valid driver's license; CDL Class A with N endorsement required within 120 days.
• No formal education required for TMT I; progression to II/III requires experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repairing and installing signs and posts.
• Maintain highways and rights-of-way; perform roadway repairs.
• Operate heavy equipment per level.
• Assist with traffic control and accident scene support.
• Perform PMI, servicing, and reporting.
• Respond to emergencies and hazmat spills as needed.
