Qualifications

• Six months of related work experience or an approved acceptable equivalence.
• A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
• Requires attainment of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain medium‑duty equipment such as tandem dump trucks and skid steer loaders.
• Clear right-of-way, repair shoulders, potholes, and lay pipe.
• Flag traffic to protect workers and the motoring public.
• Assist in emergencies and inclement weather operations; may be on call 24 hours.
• Assist in operating backhoe, excavator, motor grader, and tractor with ditcher.
