The City of Charlotte's Transportation Department seeks a Labor Crew Chief to supervise a large field crew responsible for maintenance and repair of roadway infrastructure. You will operate heavy equipment, assign tasks, and produce daily reports in Cityworks.

This role requires CDL Class A, 2 years supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of safety rules and construction standards. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive starting wage in a structured city environment.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of supervision, general construction, labor, and maintenance experience required.
• Valid Class A CDL with ability to obtain City Driving Permit within 6 months.
• Ability to obtain CDL tanker endorsement within 6 months.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and project documentation.
