Job summary

• Three and a half years of related work experience, or an approved acceptable equivalence.
• A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
• Requires attainment of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and preservation of roads and bridges on the state highway system under supervision; operate motorized equipment; supervise crew foreman and maintenance workers.
• Devise daily schedules, plan equipment, materials and labor, and input data into HMMS and EAMS; monitor time and material usage.
• Coordinate traffic control devices and safety practices in work zones; oversee CDL inspections and on-call operations.
