Job summary

Kershaw Maintenance seeks a qualified supervisor to plan, organize, and oversee foremen across Kershaw County operations in line with department procedures. You will review daily and weekly reports, manage personnel actions, and monitor costs and performance against plans.

Responsibilities include coordinating with crews, using HMMS and other systems to input maintenance data, and ensuring completion of work orders. Occasional overtime and emergency work may be required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, instructs, and supervises foremen in all phases of Kershaw County operations in accordance with Department procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Checks and consults with foremen and work crews each working day.
• Reviews daily, weekly, or monthly reports, time sheets, and cost records; recommends personnel actions including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures; rates employees as needed according to EPMS.
• Utilizes HMMS and other computer programs to input data regarding standard maintenance operations and work requests, and maintains level of completion in accordance with business plan goals.
• Verifies/Checks data entered by foremen and compiles daily, weekly, and monthly reports of the same.
• Manages assigned crew(s) in emergency or inclement weather operations, or entire shift as necessary; may include on-call personnel for extended working hours or 12-hour shifts.
