Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to obtain CDL and DOT medical card within 11 months of employment.
• Able to perform heavy manual labor.
• Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of highway maintenance equipment, materials, methods, and procedures.
• Safety shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Operate light, medium and heavy highway equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
• Perform emergency roadway operations including snow removal and debris clearance.
• Implement proper work zone safety and MUTCD guidelines.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Maintain safety, PPE, and compliance with OSHA/VOSH regulations.
