Job summary

Qualifications

• Skill in handling hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Operations: Clear roadways of snow, ice, and debris, and provide traffic control.
• Equipment Operations: Operate and maintain highway equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
• Job Safety: Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and apply MUTCD for detours and work zones.
• Manual Labor: Work as a crew member using hand and power tools to complete tasks.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform maintenance, repairs, and pre-trip inspections.
• Traffic Control Devices: Install and maintain traffic devices per MUTCD in work zones.
