Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading road maintenance crews and coordinating tasks.
• Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders and provide information clearly.
• Knowledge of safety rules (OSHA/VOSH) and MUTCD standards.
• Experience with emergency operations, snow removal, and traffic control.
• Ability to plan work, estimate materials, and manage records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform a variety of roadway maintenance activities.
• Supervise a crew and provide technical guidance on equipment operation.
• Lead emergency operations including snow removal and traffic control.
• Demonstrate safe operation of equipment and perform pre‑trip inspections.
