Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years roadway maintenance experience.
- Valid driver’s license; must drive state vehicle.
- Class A CDL required or obtained within 180 days of employment.
- Ability to lead crew and manage field operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead a transportation maintenance crew and coordinate daily work assignments.
- Oversee equipment, materials, and personnel for roadway maintenance projects.
- Supervise maintenance inspectors and sign technicians.
- Train crew members on equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Schedule daily work and provide updates to the supervisor; manage leave requests.
