Job summary

AECOM is seeking Roadway Lighting Engineers and Designers at various levels to support highway improvement projects nationwide. Positions are hybrid, allowing for flexible working arrangements.

Successful candidates will have experience in roadway lighting design, preferably using software such as AGi32 and Microstation. Various qualifications are available from junior to senior levels, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing roadway lighting design packages for highway improvement projects.
• EIT Certification or PE License preferred.
• Minimum qualifications vary based on level (Junior, Mid, Senior).

Roadway Lighting Engineers and Designers

• Full-time
• Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
• Business Group: DCS, Business Line: Transportation, Legal Entity: AECOM Technical Services Inc

We are searching for all levels of Roadway Lighting Engineers and Designers nationwide. Selected candidates can expect to work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects.

Key Roles

• Junior level, mid-level, and senior level Roadway Lighting Engineers
• Task Lead / Subject Matter Expert

Desired Skillsets

• Experience in developing roadway lighting design packages for highway improvement projects
• Experience or interest in alternative delivery projects
• Experience in the use of AGi32 or Visual lighting design software, as well as Microstation & OpenRoads

Qualification Levels

• CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
• Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency
• Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency
• Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT Certification or PE License
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• State DOT experience
