Seward County Roads Department is inviting applications for the position of Motor Grader Operator. The operator will safely operate the motor grader and related heavy equipment to keep roadways accessible and in good condition, performing grading, material spreading and surface prep to exact specifications.

The starting wage is $23.46 or more per hour, depending on experience; pay reflects local market and level of responsibility. Benefits are offered to eligible employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor grader and other heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner to maintain accessible, safe roadways.
• Perform rough or fine grade finishing, spread and mix materials to prepare road surfaces per specifications.
