Job summary

Seward County Roads Department is inviting applications for the position of Motor Grader Operator. The operator will safely operate the motor grader and related heavy equipment to keep roadways accessible and in good condition, performing grading, material spreading and surface prep to exact specifications.

The starting wage is $23.46 or more per hour, depending on experience; pay reflects local market and level of responsibility. Benefits are offered to eligible employees.

Motor Grader Operator

Seward County Roads Department is now accepting applications for the position of a Motor Grader Operator!

Motor Grader Operator is responsible for operating the motor grader and other heavy equipment in
a safe and effective manner to ensure the roadways are accessible, safe and in good operating
condition. The Motor Grader Operator performs either rough or fine grade finishing, precisely
spreading and mixing materials in order to dry and prep roads, construct road surface to precise
grade specifications, and/or shave and rip out old road surfaces.

Starting wage: $23.46 or more per hour, depending on experience.
