Job summary

Conti Civil, LLC. is seeking a Roadway Foreman to direct and manage roadway construction crews, ensure safety and quality, and complete projects on time and within budget. The role focuses on supervising craft and labor crews, interpreting plans, and coordinating with foremen and superintendents.

Candidates should have 5+ years of supervisory experience in road projects, familiarity with NCDOT work, and GPS expertise using Trimble/Topcon systems. A valid driver license is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in mass grading, finishing slopes and ditches and highway work.
• Experience with NCDOT projects and NCDOT Level II EC Certification a plus.
• Candidate must have experience with Trimble / Topcon GPS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain NPDES weekly report.
• Lead pre-task safety meetings and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Interpret drawings, plan grades, and supervise equipment and crew to meet safety, quality and efficiency targets.
• Develop work schedules, monitor time sheets, and manage daily payroll records.
• Provide on-site instruction, ensure proper tool usage, and coordinate with foremen and project engineers.
