Job summary

Rinker Design Associates, LLC (RDA) in Virginia is seeking a motivated Roadway Engineer (Technical Lead) to lead the Transportation team. You will design roadway infrastructure, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients on VA projects.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, design excellence, and contributing to RDA's growth in the region, with a $5K-$10K sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of transportation engineering, roadway engineering, or related experience.
• Virginia PE license or EIT with ability to obtain PE licensure within one year.
• Familiarity with VDOT standards and project delivery processes preferred.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer and/or MicroStation required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Interest in mentoring and developing junior staff.

Rinker Design Associates, LLC (RDA) is seeking a motivated Roadway Engineer (Technical Lead) to join our growing Transportation team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys roadway design and is looking to take the next step into technical leadership and mentoring.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on impactful transportation projects throughout Virginia while helping develop junior engineers and contributing to the growth of RDA's presence in the region.
