Job summary

Rinker Design Associates, LLC (RDA) is seeking a Roadway Engineer to design and lead transportation projects in Virginia. You will collaborate with planners, engineers, contractors, and agencies to deliver safe, efficient roadways and traffic systems.

The role requires 4–8 years of hands-on transportation design or project management, plus a VA PE or EIT with PE within 1 year. Strong communication and collaboration are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering (or related field).
• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in transportation design and/or project management.
• PE license in Virginia or EIT with the ability to obtain PE within 1 year.
• Familiarity with VDOT standards and project delivery processes.
• Proficiency in MicroStation preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
