Job summary

HDR Transportation is seeking a Roadway EIT/Coordinator in Denver to contribute to the design of highways and roadways for federal, state, and local clients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, planners, and designers to develop detailed designs and cost estimates.

The role emphasizes preparation of reports and calculations, with opportunities to advance to higher design roles as you obtain your EIT certification, in a collaborative employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field.
• Active participant of HDR's employee-owned culture is a must.
• Experience with highways/roads engineering software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team with project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural transportation projects of varying size and complexity.
• Design transportation systems including highways, streets, sidewalks, trails, bike lanes, and ADA/PROWAG facilities for Federal, State, and Local clients.
• Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, and development of plans and construction cost estimates.
• Support the creation and submission of technical reports, memos, specifications, and calculations.
• Perform other duties as needed.
