Job summary

HDR maintains employee ownership and is seeking a Roadway EIT/Coordinator to join the Transportation Business Group in Colorado. You will collaborate on detailed designs for urban and rural roadway projects, contributing to the development of safe, efficient transportation systems.

You will work on highways, streets, ADA/PROWAG facilities, and cost estimates, while supporting technical reports and calculations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is a must.
• EIT certificate preferred; candidates without EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator role for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural transportation projects of varying size and complexity.
• Design transportation systems including highways, streets, sidewalks, trails, bike lanes, and ADA/PROWAG facilities for Federal, State, and Local clients.
• Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction cost estimates.
• Support the creation and submission of technical reports, memos, specifications, and calculations.
• Perform other duties as needed.
