WSP USA offers hundreds of internships nationwide, including a Greensboro, NC civil-roaddy engineering internship as part of its Summer Internship Program. The 12-week program starts May 17, 2027, with a start date flexible for enrolled undergraduates or graduates seeking hands-on exposure to major transportation projects across the Southeast.

You will work alongside senior staff, participate in training, and gain experience in design, field work, and project documentation while adhering to

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering or related undergraduate program with graduation after Dec 2027.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, spreadsheets and general tools.

Responsabilités

• Assist in engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn fundamentals of Civil Engineering and apply them to real projects.
• Support project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations/analysis.
• Help prepare final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete assigned task training and follow company policies and code of conduct.
• Contribute to additional responsibilities as needed by the team.
• Note: there is no relocation or housing assistance provided.
