WSP USA offers hundreds of internships across the United States, providing hands-on, meaningful work experience while working with senior staff. The North Carolina Transportation Team seeks a Full Time Civil-Roadway Engineering Intern in Greensboro, NC for a 12-week summer program starting May 17, 2027.

The internship provides exposure to major transportation projects across the southeast US, including design of interstates, interchanges, and bicycle/pedestrian infrastructure.

Formación

• Active enrollment in Civil Engineering undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation in 2027 or later.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• Interest in transportation design and ability to learn basic design calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Civil Engineering.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship.
