Job summary

Dewberry invites applications for a Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to join the Transportation Group across Fairfax, Richmond, Roanoke, or Virginia Beach offices. You will gain hands-on roadway design experience and work with a team of professionals on diverse projects. A housing stipend may be provided for eligible candidates. Summer program includes workshops and a group project for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Previous Transportation focused internship experience preferred.
• Experience with CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in highway design including alignments and drainage.
• Prepare contract plans for various projects.
• Support maintenance and traffic schemes development.
