Job summary

Kisinger Campo & Associates (KCA) is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to join our Florida teams in Tampa, Fort Myers, Miami, Tallahassee, and Pensacola. You will develop horizontal and vertical alignments, prepare detailed plan sets, and perform geometric, quantity, and cost estimate calculations with limited oversight.

You will apply AASHTO Green Book guidelines, MUTCD signing plans, and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams while mentoring entry-level engineers.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience.
• EI required (PE is a plus).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn from and collaborate with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Use AASHTO Greenbook, Roadside Design Guide, DOT Standards, and other guidelines to develop design criteria.
• Apply geometric and roadside safety policies to design transportation projects including interstates and interchanges.
• Develop signing and pavement marking and traffic control plans in conformance with MUTCD.
• Develop bid documents including special provisions.
