Kisinger Campo & Associates, Corp. (KCA) in Florida is seeking an Entry Level Traffic Engineer to join our team in Tampa and other Florida offices.

You will support traffic plans production, operations modeling, analysis, and design while collaborating with FDOT and local municipalities. The role offers hands-on project involvement, growth opportunities, and a collaborative environment with senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with focus in Transportation.
• Traffic engineering courses preferred.
• 0 to 4 years of experience in traffic design or civil engineering.
• EI certification preferred with the ability to obtain PE license.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication; detail-oriented and collaborative.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, HCS, Synchro, and CORSIM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare roadway signing and pavement markings, lighting, and signalization construction plans
• Conduct traffic capacity and signal timing analyses
• Prepare traffic impact studies, reports, and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with senior engineers and agency partners
