Job summary

Felsburg Holt & Ullevig (FHU) seeks an experienced mid-level engineer to support and lead project management duties and to implement designs using Civil3D and MicroStation/OpenRoads for multimodal transportation corridors.

You will participate in business development, marketing, and growth of the office while pursuing accelerated career development. The position is located in Des Moines, IA or Omaha, NE, with opportunities for collaboration across the Great Plains region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering from an accredited four-year college.
• 5+ years of Transportation Engineering in Roadway Design experience.
• Professional Engineer license or active pursuit of PE license in IA or NE; SD or KS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design projects from concept to end deliverables.
• Lead data collection, analyses, and documentation.
• Present findings in client meetings and public forums.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with proposals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage project budgets.
