Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a roadway design professional to join our Tucson office. You will work under a Project Manager on the engineering development of urban and rural highway projects, guiding CAD Designers and delivering detailed roadway designs through feasibility, design, and construction.

Required is a Bachelor's degree and a PE license; hands-on experience with Bentley ConceptStation/Open Roads Designer and Civil 3D is essential, along with strong MS Office and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; PE license required.
• Hands-on experience with highways CAD tools (Bentley/OpenRoads/Civil3D).
• Experience in urban and rural highway interchange design and traffic planning.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve in a technical role under a Project Manager on urban and rural highway projects.
• Oversee the work of CAD Designers and possibly other EITs.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs for roadway projects.
• Participate from site feasibility analysis to final design and through construction.
• Assume some project management duties and interact with clients as needed.
