The role requires a Professional Engineer license or eligibility within 12 months and proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD and Civil 3D. This on-site role involves collaboration with jurisdictions and contractors.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, roadway design standards, and traffic engineering principles.
  • Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design team to develop roadway designs and ensure compliance with regulations and project specs.
  • Assist in development of project plans, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for roadway infrastructure projects.
  • Select materials and prepare engineering specifications for road construction and maintenance.
  • Create alignment and geometric designs for roads, intersections, and transportation facilities.
  • Obtain permits and approvals from authorities for roadway projects.
  • Provide technical support during construction and oversee project progress.
