Job summary

Egis is seeking a licensed Roadway Engineer in Kentucky to design roadways and drainage for DOT projects, perform geometric roadway design, and prepare contract documents.

The role involves collaboration within a team of roadway engineers, managing project documentation, and ensuring delivery on schedule and budget. PE is preferred and a hybrid in-office work arrangement is possible for Kentucky residents.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
• 5+ years of roadway design experience on DOT projects.
• Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design roadways and drainage for KYTC (or other DOT clients) with geometry and PS&E.
• Prepare design and contract documents for transportation projects as part of a team.
• Manage project documentation, schedules, and budgets.
• Collaborate with Lochner offices to deliver projects on time and within budget.
