Job summary

Atlas, a leading environmental and infrastructure consulting firm, is seeking a Roadway Engineer II based in Duluth, GA. You will support planning, design and delivery of transportation infrastructure, focusing on roadway drainage, grading and site development to enhance mobility and safety.

Work with project managers and engineers across disciplines using MicroStation and OpenRoads. The ideal candidate has a BSCE or Civil Engineering degree, 2–6 years of transportation experience, and strong

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
2–6 years of transportation engineering experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with project planning and design by reviewing survey reports, maps and plans
Analyze project information to support planning, development and execution of projects
Prepare preliminary designs for roadway drainage, site development and grading components
Support development of project layouts and design concepts meeting client objectives
Ensure roadway design and construction activities comply with regulatory standards
Utilize CAD software including MicroStation and OpenRoads to prepare drawings
Communicate project status, concerns and solutions to managers and stakeholders
Collaborate with planners, surveyors and civil engineers across disciplines to support delivery
