Job summary

H&H is seeking a Roadway/Transportation Designer in Bedford, New Hampshire. You will help design highway, roadway, interchange, and drainage projects while learning from experienced professionals.

The role requires a BSCE and 0–5 years of civil engineering experience; EIT may be preferred. Proficiency with Bentley/AutoCAD tools and strong communication skills are valued in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
• Zero to five years of civil engineering experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and prior internship experience preferred.
• Experience with Bentley CONNECT Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of conceptual alternatives and final design plans for highway, roadway, interchange, and drainage projects.
• Assist in the design and production of traffic control and staging plans, as well as traffic, signing, and striping plans.
• Perform geometric design and plan development using MicroStation, AutoCAD, InRoads, AutoTurn, and GuideSign.

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
