Job summary

Crafton Tull is seeking a Civil Engineer, EI for transportation projects in Arkansas. The role involves planning, designing, and directing streets, drainage and channel projects, with client coordination and permit liaising.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering and an Engineer Intern license, with strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BS) from an accredited Engineering school in a four-year college or university.
  • Must be a licensed Engineer Intern (EI). Will consider recent graduates of accredited Engineering program.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical information; communicate clearly.
  • Strong math skills and ability to apply geometric and algebraic concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, designs, and directs engineering projects such as streets, roads, drainage projects and channels.
  • Collaborates with project managers and coordinates with government officials for permits.
  • Prepare cost estimates and feasibility analyses based on data.
  • Develops engineering documents using CAD/engineering software.
  • Meet with clients to coordinate changes and gather input.
  • Ensure reports and schedules meet regulations and client needs.
