Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to join our Roadway Team in Lexington, Kentucky. In this role, you will be responsible for roadway design from project planning to detailed drawings. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective mobility solutions for our clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of roadway design experience, including DOT projects.
• PE licensure with the ability to obtain KY PE licensure within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Perform roadway design using DOT standards and CAD tools.
• Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and design reports.
• Conduct geometric design including alignments, cross sections, and pavement design.
• Ensure compliance with quality control and technical reviews.
• Support project managers with client coordination and progress monitoring.
