Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Senior Roadway Design Engineer to join the Tennessee Mobility team in Nashville, Chattanooga, or Knoxville. You will lead roadway design projects including intersections, arterials, expressways, interchanges and interstates.

The role involves mentoring junior staff, coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality design documentation. Tennessee PE licensure or path to licensure within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Tennessee PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design projects of varying size and scope.
• Mentor junior staff and drafters; develop project plans and schedules.
• Interact with client technical staff; present findings and manage expectations.
• Serve as QA/QC reviewer, technical advisor, design leader or project manager.
• Prepare written reports, calculations and other design documents.
