DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a Crew Leader to conduct Highway Maintenance Services and related tasks. Qualified applicants will train in Highway/Roadway Routine Maintenance and supervise field crews. The role requires knowledge of maintenance practices, equipment, and traffic control standards.

Florida-specific licensure is required or to be obtained (FDACS Commercial Applicator with Right-of-Way and Aquatic Pest Control). TTC certification must be kept on person during work.

Formación

• Five (5) years of infrastructure maintenance and/or construction experience.
• Experience planning and monitoring field personnel work activities.
• Thorough knowledge of highway maintenance practices and equipment.
• Knowledge of MUTCD and traffic control procedures for work zones.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and clear culverts.
• Mowing and clearing brush from roadsides.
• Patching pavement and shoulders.
• Assist in storm cleanup.
• Fence and sign repair.
• Litter/debris removal.
• Emergency response.
• Operate highway maintenance equipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools.
