Job summary

Raba Kistner Inc. seeks dependable Construction Inspectors at multiple levels (I–V) for our Infrastructure team in Midvale, Utah. Under supervision, you will inspect construction activities for compliance with plans, drawings, and specs, and prepare daily inspection reports.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and NICET Level I–III or equivalent certifications. Preferred: ACI Field Testing Technician Level 1 and TTCP certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Shall possess a valid driver’s license within the applicable jurisdiction and meet firm’s auto insurability requirements.
• NICET Level I/II/III certification in Transportation Engineering Technology (highway construction) or equivalent.
• ACI Field Testing Technician Level 1 certification.
• Completion of TTCP or State-specific Technician Training and Certification Program (TTCP) or ability to complete within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare and submit testing and inspection reports daily.
• Review plans and shop drawings prior to performing duties.
• Perform field tests on materials using standard methods per AASHTO/ASTM with calibrated equipment.
• Maintain safety and proper use of company vehicle and field tools.
• Pursue required certifications and training as directed.
