WSP USA invites students to join a 12-week Summer Internship Program in Wichita, KS. Currently enrolled undergrad/grad students will gain hands-on experience by collaborating with senior staff on real projects.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited Engineering undergraduate program with anticipated graduation May 2028 or later.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Demonstrated interest in Civil Engineering or related field and desire to grow in WSP’s projects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Ability to take direction from leadership, mentors, and managers.
• Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, and tools.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Civil Engineering.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and policies; manage resources responsibly.
• Perform additional duties as needed by business requirements.
