Job summary

WSP USA invites motivated Civil Engineering interns to join our Lisle, IL office for a hands-on summer experience. This 12-week program runs from May 24, 2027, and is open to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate civil engineering program.

Qualifications

Actively enrolled in an accredited civil engineering undergraduate program with graduation date Dec 2027 or later.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with engineering and non-engineering audiences.
Able to take direction from mentors and leaders on projects.
Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, and tools.

Responsibilities

Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
Learn basic principles of Civil Engineering.
Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analyses.
Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
