Kimley-Horn's Downtown Indianapolis, IN office seeks a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of roadway design experience to join the Roadway team in a non‑remote role. You will collaborate with INDOT, municipalities, and transit agencies to develop plans, specs, and cost estimates, ensuring compliance with regulations and project requirements.

You will support construction with reviews and field inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• P.E. license (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• Strong civil engineering principles and roadway design knowledge
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsabilités

• Develop roadway designs and specifications for INDOT, local municipalities, and transit agencies
• Support project planning, feasibility studies, and cost estimates
• Prepare alignments, geometries, and material specifications for road construction
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Provide technical support during construction and conduct site inspections
• Coordinate with design teams and stakeholders to deliver quality projects
• Monitor progress, budgets, and schedules and maintain effective documentation
