Job summary

Stanley Consultants, Inc. in St George, UT is seeking a Construction Inspector to perform on-site daily observation of contractor work and verify compliance with project plans and standards.

You will document daily activities, conduct concrete and soil tests, and coordinate with Field and Project Engineers and the office. Experience with UDOT and municipal roadway/bridge projects is preferred; WAQTC, ACI, or UDOT IQP certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction-related experience, with emphasis on roadway and bridge construction and inspection.
• Ability to read plans and specifications and document test results.
• Good communication and documentation skills, able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Physically performs field-required tests and inspections.
• Prepares daily reports, entries, and documents test results; attends project meetings.
• Ensures quality of contractor work and maintains daily inspection logs.
• Operates company vehicle and coordinates with engineers and office staff.
