Job summary

CTL Engineering is seeking a Civil/Project Engineer for Construction Services with 5+ years' experience and a P.E. license.

You will lead construction administration, inspection, and testing for roadway, bridge, and utility projects, coordinating with municipal agencies and clients in central Ohio. The role combines field and office work, requires strong reading of blueprints, and the ability to manage teams, schedules, and budgets while ensuring compliance with state specifications and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5+ years of applicable experience preferred.
• PE licensure required.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of construction administration and inspection for roadway/bridge projects.
• Manage roadway/bridge projects and municipal utility or infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with Marketing on technical proposals.
• Monitor and enforce standards and specifications.
• Read and apply blueprints and construction documents.
• Travel to project sites to inspect construction and ensure contractor compliance.
• Supervise technicians and inspectors in inspection work and materials testing.
• Prepare and maintain project records and reports.
• Notify Project Manager of status updates and non-conforming projects.
• Review submittals including CPM schedules.
• Communicate with clients on deliverables.
• Assist with developing project proposals and construction cost estimates.
• Assist with schedules, budgets, and quality control.
