Job summary

CTL Engineering in Toledo, OH is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to oversee construction administration and inspection for primarily state roadway projects. You will manage roadway/bridge work, coordinate with agencies, and support proposals with technical input.

The role requires a civil engineering background, ability to read blueprints, and strong project leadership. Travel to project sites within a NW Ohio radius is expected, with opportunities for career growth and a competitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0–10 years of applicable experience.
• Construction material inspection and testing experience is a plus.
• Being on track for EI or PE licensure is a strong plus.
• Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Participate in construction administration and inspection for infrastructure projects.
• Manage roadway/bridge projects and municipal utility or infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with Marketing on technical proposals.
• Monitor and enforce standards and specifications; read blueprints.
• Travel to project sites for inspections and supervise inspectors.
• Prepare and maintain project records and reports; review submittals.
