Job summary

CTL Engineering in Toledo, OH is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to oversee construction administration and inspection for primarily state roadway projects. You will manage roadway/bridge work, coordinate with agencies, and support proposals with technical input.

The role requires a civil engineering background, ability to read blueprints, and strong project leadership. Travel to project sites within a NW Ohio radius is expected, with opportunities for career growth and a competitive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
0–10 years of applicable experience.
Construction material inspection and testing experience is a plus.
Being on track for EI or PE licensure is a strong plus.
Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Participate in construction administration and inspection for infrastructure projects.
Manage roadway/bridge projects and municipal utility or infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with Marketing on technical proposals.
Monitor and enforce standards and specifications; read blueprints.
Travel to project sites for inspections and supervise inspectors.
Prepare and maintain project records and reports; review submittals.
