Job summary

Osborn Engineering Company seeks a Senior Roadway Engineer / Discipline Project Lead to spearhead roadway plan production and leadership across projects in Ohio. You will collaborate with Project Managers, coordinate with bridge, drainage, traffic, and utility teams, and ensure design quality and technical accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 15+ years of roadway design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience serving as technical lead on transportation projects.
• Strong knowledge of ODOT standards and roadway production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as roadway discipline lead for ODOT, county, and municipal transportation projects.
• Lead roadway plan development and production efforts.
• Coordinate with bridge, drainage, traffic, and utility disciplines.
• Lead internal and external design coordination meetings.
• Provide mentoring and technical oversight to roadway staff.
• Review and stamp roadway plans as Engineer of Record when required.
• Oversee QA/QC reviews and design risk management.
