Job summary

Reeves Construction Company, based out of Augusta, GA, is seeking an experienced Asphalt Milling Machine Operator. The role involves operating an asphalt milling machine and a skid steer with milling head and power broom attachment, maintaining depth and cross slope, and ensuring safe, efficient pavement removal on roads and bridges.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of milling/paving experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Two years of asphalt milling and/or paving experience, especially roads/highways.
• Familiarity with dump trucks and paving equipment preferred.
• Driver's license with a safe driving record required.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate an asphalt milling machine and skid steer with milling head and power broom.
• Maintain specified depth of cut and cross slope per project documents.
• Inspect and prepare equipment; perform routine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; travel to job sites as needed.
