Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring a Roadside Technician to provide emergency tire service for semi-truck fleets, dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires. You may also assist in mounting orders and shop organization when calls are slow.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role includes on-call rotations with after-hours premium pay and a strong focus on safety and PPE adherence.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous commercial service tire experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout checks as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including wearing PPE and following safety policies.
• During low service periods, assist with mounting orders, shop cleanup and general duties.
