Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to serve on semi-truck fleets. Technicians are dispatched to customers' locations to repair or replace tires, typically roadside.

Training will be provided, and candidates must be prepared for on-call duties. This role includes shifts with after-hours service responsibilities, a premium pay rate for those calls, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic requirements include a valid driver's license and 21+ years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience isn’t required for this position; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including proper PPE usage.
• Assist with mounting orders, keeping the shop clean and organized as needed.
• Respond to after-hours service requests during on-call periods with a premium pay rate and guaranteed minimums.
