Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire failures for semi-truck fleets. You will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or replace tires and may assist in shop duties when calls are slow.

No prior experience is required; you will be trained. The position includes an on-call rotation and after-hours premium pay. Valid driver's license and ability to work in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• 21+ years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including proper PPE, tire cages, and safety policies.
