Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an emergency response tire technician to serve semi-truck fleets. You will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or replace tires, and may assist with mounting orders and shop organization when idle.

Requires a valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S. This full-time role involves mandatory on-call shifts, evenings and weekends with premium pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing commercial tires, mounting and dismounting.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and PPE usage.
• Ability to inflate tires to prescribed PSI and verify loads.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing various tire types.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI based on load requirements.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, wearing proper PPE, using tire cages, and following all safety policies.
