Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire failures at customer locations for semi-truck fleets. The role is field-based, requiring you to repair or replace tires on-site, with opportunities to assist in shop duties when not on calls.

No experience is required; you will be trained. The position includes participation in an on-call rotation with after-hours pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including proper PPE, tire cages, and other safety policies.
