Job summary
Goodyear is seeking a Roadside Technician for our Commercial Tire & Service Centers in Macon, GA. You respond to tire-related failures at customer locations, repair or change tires, and support shop duties when calls are slow.
The role requires a valid driver's license, willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, and training on required skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and tire discounts, with opportunities to advance within Goodyear CTSC.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Preferred: High School Diploma or GED; previous Commercial Service Tire experience.
Responsibilities
- Service Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing tires.
- Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
- Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
- Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements, wear PPE, and maintain a safe work environment.
